Your Castle OT was developed with the purpose of enabling individuals to remain living purposefully and independently in their home.
We consider the roles and occupations of individuals wholistically and assess the functional needs to help prioritise goals enabling function.
If your aim is to increase your functional independence, such as wanting to be able to access your home or community or remaining living in your own home and ageing in place, we may be able to help.
Director and Lead Occupational Therapist, Jacqui Langford, completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy with Honours at the University of the Sunshine Coast, graduating in 2017.
Jacqui has worked across various settings and across the age span and has experience in working with individuals with chronic and lifelong conditions. She has an interest in ageing in place and enabling others to continue living in their homes and being able to access their communities, comfortably and with dignity, with the right supports in place to do so.
Through a tailored assessment of each person’s individual circumstances, Director OT Jacqui assists those who may benefit from assistive technology/equipment, home modifications and/or additional formal supports to maximise their safety and remain living as independently as possible.
